For all Building Plan Applications and applications in terms of Section 7(6) only Professional Architects, Senior Architectural Technologists, Architectural Technologists or Draftsmen who are registered and in good standing with South African Council for Architectural Profession (SACAP) may submit such an application(s). For all other application types on CPMS (Site Development Plans, Hoarding, Demolition Permit) you do not have to be registered with any professional body.
